In 2013, Tansley Woods off Upper Middle Road in Burlington expanded to serve residents in Retirement and Long-term Care. Our newest phase opened up in 2020, expanding the Village to a total of 433 apartments.

This was our first Village to open The Ruby, a full-service restaurant-like experience on the Village’s 10th Floor overlooking Lake Ontario, and the first to expand its retirement offerings to two towers of suites to meet the needs of all residents, regardless of ability. While this community is large, it maintains the connectivity of a small, tight-knit community.

Our Long-term Care and Retirement Villages thrive because our family culture has only grown stronger over the course of three generations. We are mission-driven and proud to be entirely Canadian, inspired by the same values that guide our neighbours across the nation. We believe in community, we believe in treating others as we wish to be treated, and we believe every person connected to Village Life has something important to offer. Our strength is in our collective community, and as we grow into the future, the value of each contribution in Village Life can never be overstated.
